Der Dual Funktion Quickshifter ist wahlweise als Zug- oder Drucksensor verwendbar. Durch zwei verschiedenfärbige Anschlüsse kann je nach Einsatzzweck durch einfaches umstecken zwischen den zwei Modi gewechselt werden. Dies ist perfekt, wenn man noch nicht sicher ist, ob man nicht doch einmal auf Reverse Shifting (umgedrehtes Schaltschema) wechseln will, oder man mit einer Nachrüstfußrastenanlage liebäugelt, wo ein jeweils anderer Sensor notwendig wird.
Der Sensor wird in die Schaltstange eingebaut, aufgrund der Modellvielfalt gibt es keine fertigen Lösungen. Die Installation ist mit etwas handwerklichem Geschick in Eigenregie möglich.
In Kombination mit dem
Dynojet Power Commander 3 III USB funktioniert der Quickshifter über Plug&Play, mit dem Dynojet Stand Alone Ignition Quick Shifter Modul ist eine minimale Anpassung erforderlich. Bei Fahrzeugen mit Blipper-Funktion ist Rauf- UND Runterschalten möglich.

It’s ideal for both road and race applications running Power Commander 3 III USB and also works great on third party systems where clutchless upshifts and downshifts are needed.
Normally during "up shifting" you must roll off of the throttle and pull in the clutch in order to engage the next higher gear. In racing (both drag and road race), split seconds count. Rolling off the throttle, even slightly, slows your times and can be the difference between winning and losing. The Dynojet Quick Shifter (DQS) allows full throttle, clutch-less up shifting. This is done by momentarily cutting the fuel and or ignition, which unloads the transmission. During this time, the rider can shift up to the next gear without rolling off the throttle or using the clutch.
The Power Commander 3 III incorporates all of the Quick Shifter functionality in with the main fuel controller and is fully programmable*. No cutting or splicing of your bike's wiring harness is necessary. The amount of "kill time" is adjustable by the user via the provided software. The user can also set a minimum rpm for the system to function. This keeps the system from activating at too low of an rpm, such as low speed road riding.
*Note: Certain bikes require an ignition module for Quick Shifter functionality.
Shift Rod Pressure/Tension Sensor - This universal sensor mounts inline with the shift rod. The customer must provide the appropriate "length and thread" shift rod. For most applications, a Shift Rod Kit is available.
